The following is some information that I found in the book
"The Burnetts and their Connections, Vol. 2" by June
Baldwin Bork, 1993
p. 339-340’

Littleberry was born about 1808 in Edgefield Dist,
SC and predeceased his father after 15 Jan 1852 and before
November 1853. He married 1) about 1842 to NANCY WHEELER,
d/o DANIEL WHEELER.’ On 15 Jan 1852, LITTLEBERRY BURNETT
petitioned the Court for Guardianship of his two sons
saying they were entitled to a small estate from their
GRANDFATER,DANIEL WHEELER, deceased now in the hands of
Sampson Wheeler, Executor of said estate.’ That Nancy
Burnett, the wife of Petitioner and daughter of said DANIEL
WHEELER departed this life afterh the death of her father,
leaving two children surviving her.’ That William New
Burnett and Daniel Sumpter Burnett are minors, below the
age of choice (age 14), and are without a guardian to take
charge of their Estate.’ Wherefore petitioner prays he may
be appointed such Guardian /s/ LITTLEBERRY BURNETT.’ (there
is a copy of Littleberry's actual signature here)
’’’ Littleberry married 2) in 1850, Susan __, born 1810 in
SC.’ They were living 1850 in Saluda, Abbeville Dist, SC.
p. 124, with his two sons Sumpter D, 7 and William N age 4.
’’’ On 10 June 1858, William Wheeler petitioned the Court
and sheweth that Sumnpter D. and William N. Burnett are
minors under the age of 14; that they are entitled to a
small personal estate about $250 joiintly in the hands of
the Exccutor, or guardian, Litttleberry Burnett, deceased.’
That minors are now without guardian to take charge of and
manage the estate which by reason of their tender age, they
are incapable of managing themselves.’ Wherefore your
petitioner being the UNCLE of said minors and having them
now in his family and their being without Father or
Mother,’ that he may be guardian..
’’’ Both boys were living with their Uncle and Aunt (Martha
Burnett) Wheeler in 1860 census of Edgefield, at Sister
Springs PO.’ William Wheeler's property was balued at
$4500/$8308, (part of Martha's inheritance?)
’’’ In Pleasant Burnett's will, written 10 August 1853, he
said in Item 2b:’ "to children of LITTLEBERRY BURNETT,
DEC'D , I give a Negro, Hannah."’ In Item 2p"...the share
which the children of Littleberry Burnett, decd will take
in right of their father, which asaid share I desire to be
less by $150..than the shares of my other children."’ Item
#3..."my tract of land on Halfway Swamp be valied...&
divided as to valued into two tracts and given to Children
Of LITTLEBERRY BURNETT as also all monies or interest which
may become due to them at my death or at the final
distribution of my estate remain under the control and
management of my Executor until said Children shall reach
the age of 21 years or marry ... and I authorize my Exe.,
if in their judgment the interest of said children will be
promoted therby to sell the Woman, Hannah and put the
proceeds to interest."

There is no information in this book about the child of
Littleberry and Sara - James Pleasant Burnett who was sent
to me by Sammy Gorman.
