Notes for William Henry SMITH

Certificate of Birth, Georgia Department of Public Health,
Richmond co, Ga Registrar's # 1095 states that "Bill" was
born at home at 101 1st St. Augusta, Richmond Co., Ga. at
11:35 PM Nov 12, 1922. His father was age 24 and his
mother 23 at the time of his birth.

Although Bill and Lillian were born and lived in NA/Augusta
area for most of the first 35 years of their life, he began
to travel in 1963 with in the Construction division of
Dupont. Left North Augusta, SC from the Savannah River
Plant July 2 1963 and took their first transfer to Baton
Rouge LA.
