Notes for Elmina BURNETT

None of the children were able to read or write according
to 1880 Aiken Co census.
Death certificate SC # 06123 of Huldah Coursey Wilkerson,
daughter of William and Elmira gives mohters name as Elmiro
May. I check May files, and there is no Elmira, Elmina
May. There is an Emily but married different man. I
believe this is a mistake given by Hulda's daughter Mrs. W.
K. Dillard. Records of this family published in the
history of Johnston SC gives surname as Burnett
