Return on the Estates of Henry, Samuel, Catherine & Ann
WAIT minors by John BURNETT, 8 June 1857.
Guardian bond: John BURNETT of Edgefield District,
guardian, bound for $100, 7 January 1845. Wiley Culbreath,
of Edgefield District, security. Petition of John BURNETT
sheweth that Aaron WAITS departed this life Intestate many
years since & that Stephen WHITLEY was the admr. that the
said Stephen WHITLEY also died before fully administering.
I Mary WAITS widow & 4 children Henry, Samuel, Catherine &
Ann WAITS all under age and John & David of age. Petitions
prays that he may be appointed guardian by consent of the
mother & Consent of the children [not dated]

Does this prove a connection of this Aaron Waits and wife
to Henry Wait who married Frances Holloway. That Henry
would have been 32 in 1857, so certainly not a minor. He
had a son Aaron, minor in 1857, but Henry was still alive,
therefore children not orphans.And who is Mary Wait - I
have two wives Frances Holloway Waites, and Anna Burnett
Wait. Anna Burnett Waits has a brother John Burnett.

Don't know how this Orphans Bond and petition fit into the
limited Wait information that I have.
